Hanford Recovery Act

As part of the Hanford Recovery Act, The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) provides compensation to persons who have become ill as a result of working at atomic weapon facilities.  Individuals, or their eligible survivors, who worked as an employee, contractor, or subcontractor at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation may be eligible for benefits under the Energy Employees' Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICP).

For more information, please visit the Department of Energy's official website, http://www.hanford.gov/page.cfm/EEOICP

Hanford Challenge, http://www.hanfordchallenge.org/, is a Seattle-based organization dedicated to helping Hanford workers file claims with the  EEOICP.  With their advice or that of an attorney, you may decide that Dr. Wigren can provide additional medical information for eligibility and compensation.
